Death of a Unicorn

​"Death of a Unicorn" is a 2025 American horror-comedy film written and directed by Alex Scharfman in his directorial debut. The film stars Paul Rudd as Elliot Kintner, a widowed father, and Jenna Ortega as his teenage daughter, Ridley. The story follows the duo as they accidentally hit and kill a unicorn while en route to a weekend retreat hosted by Elliot's billionaire boss, Odell Leopold, portrayed by Richard E. Grant. At the retreat, the Leopold family—including Odell, his wife Belinda (Téa Leoni) and their son Shepard (Will Poulter)—seeks to exploit the unicorn's miraculous curative properties, leading to unforeseen and perilous consequences.
